DEPTH - Massage Therapy by Edina Ódor
Masterclass III & Masterclass IV completed in 2025.
Edina's Story
I originally came from a background in biology and food/nutritional sciences, and was working in food product development and laboratory environments. Over time, I became increasingly disconnected from the work I was doing, creating products that didn’t align with my personal beliefs around health, whole foods, and wellbeing.
Around the same time, I discovered I had lipoedema myself, which completely changed the direction of my interests. I started researching connective tissue, lymphatic health, circulation, and manual therapy more deeply, trying to better understand the body and what actually helps people feel better in it.
That search eventually led me to Alyna and Quadrivas Therapy.
I still remember our first conversation in 2024. I was immediately drawn not only to the therapy itself, but also to Alyna’s approach, knowledge, and understanding of tissue and chronic conditions. I knew very quickly that I wanted to learn from her and applied for her international training program. In February 2025, Alyna decided to stop teaching internationally and the program was cancelled, but during our conversation she mentioned she would still be running her final two Masterclasses in the Netherlands.
Two weeks later, I was on a plane to the Netherlands.
Joining those trainings turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The learning was thorough, practical, and eye-opening, and I was surrounded by a small group of incredibly skilled and passionate therapists. I returned later that year for the following Masterclass to deepen my understanding and refine my techniques further.
What continues to amaze me about Quadrivas Therapy is how quickly it can change how people feel in their bodies — particularly reducing pain, heaviness, tissue restriction, and improving overall tissue quality. Seeing those changes firsthand has completely shifted the way I think about the body’s ability to adapt, regulate, and heal when given the right support and stimulus.
Alongside Quadrivas Therapy, I began studying Remedial Massage in Australia to support and formalise my clinical practice here. I have a particular interest in women’s health, lipoedema, loose connective tissue health and function, recovery, and nervous system regulation.
That first phone call with Alyna genuinely changed the direction of my life and career. I feel incredibly grateful to now do work that feels meaningful and aligned with who I am. I continue learning constantly and will continue returning to the Netherlands to further develop my skills and continue this journey.
